Craft Sunday: Hand Felted Handbags with Syrah Jay

Join local textile maker Syrah Jay for an afternoon of relaxed crafting and create your own summer accessory. 

Syrah will show you how to hand felt your own handbag using soft merino wool, soap, water and some elbow grease. Choose from a beautiful array of colours, then Syrah will guide you through the wet felting process step-by-step, passing on her many tips and tricks along the way. 

Finish your bag off with a set of leather straps and then head out to show off your unique new accessory. 

We’ll provide plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to help fuel your making during this fun afternoon of crafts.
