David Shrigley

David Shrigley is truly a phenomenon. Since publishing his first books of drawings in the early 90s his work has drawn increasingly greater audiences world-wide. The interest in and enthusiasm for his undoubtedly eccentric, always witty and often dark view of the world seems boundless. This major exhibition, his first Scotland for 10 years, presents the broad range of his work in drawing, animation and sculpture. Recent works, many of which evoke the kind of language found on public signs proclamations, declarations or instructions are brought together for the first time.
