We're thrilled to announce our new season of Live from the Met opera screenings. Always a highlight of the Cinema year, these award-winning broadcasts bring world-class opera to our screens live from the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

The season opens on Sat 18 October with La Sonnambula, Bellini's poignant tale of love and loss, with Riccardo Frizza taking the podium for one of opera’s most ravishing works,
Then Franco Zeffirelli's production of Puccini's La Bohème brings 19th century Paris to the stage, followed by the sumptuous glamour of Strauss' Arabella, and the passion and tragedy of Giordano's Andrea Chénier.
Then in 2026, electrifying new productions of Bellini's I Puritani and Wagner's epic Tristan und Isolde, and a beautiful revival of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, starring soprano Asmik Grigorian.
The season ends with a new opera, El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego, from American composer Gabriella Lena Frank; a magical-realist portrait of legendary artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
