California Schemin' at DCA

We're thrilled to bring James McAvoy’s California Schemin’ to DCA! This thrilling biographical drama includes scenes filmed in Dundee and tells the true story of local hip hop act Billy Boyd and Gavin Bain who, having been rejected by record labels for using their real accents, reinvented themselves as American rappers Silibil N' Brains and scored a huge contract and opened for Eminem and D12 in the early 2000s.

On Sat 28 March, we were joined by special guests Gavin and Billy, along with actors Samuel Bottomley and Seamus McLean Ross, for two sold-out preview screenings, and we had an absolute blast!
