This autumn in Dundee
We’re excited to be part of a huge autumn for culture in Dundee
There’s so much to see and do to here in Dundee - at DCA we've got Lauren Gault's exhibition, Dundead Halloween and Discovery Film Festival just around the corner, and across the city there is so much more to enjoy!

Earlier this month we were delighted to welcome Jupiter Artland to the city for a major new installation by artist Lindsey Mendick, we're looking forward to a new production of a Tennessee Williams classic at Dundee Rep, and in our own galleries the major new exhibition by DJCAD graduate Lauren Gault: bone stone voice alone opens.

If you’re a Halloween fan, you’ll have plenty to choose from – from theatrical chills at Dundee Rep to a whole spooky film season from Dundead, and family-friendly Who Dunnit? at Dundee Science Centre.

Also in October, V&A Dundee will open its doors after hours for Night Garden, a late-night takeover inspired by the exhibition Garden Futures: Designing with Nature, featuring live DJs, immersive installations and gallery access.
In November, the city will welcome the Scottish Album of the Year awards to the Caird Hall for the first time, celebrating the best of Scotland’s recorded music at a major national event, and Creative Dundee’s popular Pecha Kucha night will return at Dundee Rep.
We’ll also be celebrating lots of cultural anniversaries, from the Science Centre’s ongoing 25th birthday celebrations to a long weekend of events to mark 100 years of RRS Discovery. The Mills Observatory turns 90 in October, and stay tuned for details of Scottish Dance Theatre’s 40th anniversary programme, coming in 2026.
