We host many fun activities for all ages at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

This month sees the final weekend of Discovery Film Festival 2025 and the first of our Family Art Labs inspired by our new exhibition: bone stone voice alone by Lauren Gault.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop, which stocks some great toys, books and pocket money friendly games.

Workshops and events

Family Art Lab is back, with new activities inspired by Lauren Gault's exhibition. We also have new activity sheets in Create Space and Soundplay Projects return for more fun with sound and light.

In the cinema

The final weekend if Discovery Film Festival brings lots of exciting cinema adventures. Following that, our Bring a Baby screenings start again and Wicked: For Good hits our screens.
