Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for all ages at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

With the opening of our new exhibition, France-Lise McGurn: The Charm Offensive, comes our Bring a Baby Gallery Tour and new Family Art Lab dates. Create Space also has new activities inspired by the work on show in our galleries. This month sees the return of Drop in and Play and this time we're teaming up with Abertay's DARE Academy - don't miss this fun, free gaming event for ages 10+.

In the cinema, there's a new 4K restoration of Studio Ghibli's beloved coming-of-age story Kiki’s Delivery Service - with both subtitled and English dub screenings. And for Discovery Family Film Club we're revisiting a Discovery favourite: Belle and Sebastian.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family fun, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar and a trip to our shop, which stocks some great toys, books and pocket money friendly games.
