New films from Fri 10 October

See what's on including I Swear, A House of Dynamite, The Smashing Machine and more.

We’re bringing an extraordinary life story from Scotland to DCA Cinema this week, with I Swear, an uplifting feature film based on the experiences of Galashiels-born Tourettes Syndrome campaigner, John Davidson.

Elsewhere, Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty) directs A House of Dynamite, a tense thriller which sees a missile launched at the United States, and there’s more time to see The Smashing Machine, One Battle After Another and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.

We’re screening 1968’s The Swimmer in collaboration with V&A Dundee to celebrate their Garden Futures: Designing in Nature exhibition, and you can enjoy an October holiday cinema trip with Discovery Family Film Club: Shorts for Wee Ones (suitable for 3+) and Shorts for Families (suitable for 8+).
