New films from Fri 15 May

See what's on including The Christophers, Rose of Nevada, and much more

We dive into the arts this week at DCA Cinema. Kokuho takes us to Japan for its highly stylized form of theatre known as Kabuki, most recognised for its elaborate costumes, dramatic makeup, and powerful, expressive performances. Steven Soderbergh’s new comedy The Christophers is fuelled by the question ‘What is the value of art?’ Rose of Nevada is a time travelling sci-fi drama starring George MacKay and Callum Turner, alongside Francis Magee, from acclaimed Cornish filmmaker Mark Jenkin.

Plus, A.I. Artificial Intelligence is back on our screens to celebrate 25 years since its first release! Don’t miss out the chance to revisit this sci-fi favourite ahead of Spielberg’s new film, Disclosure Day, out in June. The Devil Wears Prada 2 continues bringing glam and couture to our screens alongside additional screenings of California Schemin’ and Glenrothan.

Enjoy!
