New films from Fri 17 October
See what's on including After the Hunt, I Swear, Urchin and more.
Luca Guadagnino (Challengers) returns to the director’s seat for After the Hunt, a gripping psychological drama starring Julia Roberts. Elsewhere, Harris Dickinson makes his directorial debut with acclaimed social drama Urchin.
There’s more time to see uplifting Scottish film I Swear and to enjoy Discovery Family Film Club: Shorts for Wee Ones and Shorts for Families. Live from the Met returns with La Sonnambula, there’s NT Live: Mrs Warren’s Profession and we’re screening An Angel at My Table (35mm) with Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
Our collection of Dundead Halloween screenings continue this week with claustrophobic horror The Descent (20th Anniversary 4K Restoration), surreal The Wizard of Oz sequel Return to Oz (40th Anniversary) and there’s eighties fun to be had with Evilspeak screening from a VHS tape.
