Little alien Grogu rides on a desert space bike

New films from Fri 22 May

See what's on, including Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, The Wizard of the Kremlin, and more.

Heroes and villains take over DCA Cinema this week! Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu transports us to a galaxy far, far away with Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver. Political satire The Wizard of the Kremlin follows a young man that becomes an advisor to Putin – an unrecognisable Jude Law. We also have our first Artist’s Choice Screening: The Wiz from exhibiting artist Francis Dosoo.

Documentary Northern Soul: Still Burning explores the cultural legacy of a musical phenomenon, and we're looking forward to NT Live: The Playboy of the Western World, starring Nicola Coughlan and Siobhán McSweeney.

Acclaimed Spanish director Carla Simón (Alcarràs) returns with beautiful new drama Romeria, a semi-autobiographical tale about a young woman searching for information about the biological parents she has never known.

Plus, we've got more chances to see this month's two great comedy-dramas – The Christophers and The Devil Wears Prada 2.
