New films from Fri 30 January - Thu 5 February

See what's on including Rental Family, No Other Choice, The History of Sound and more.

Brendan Fraser returns to our screens in Rental Family, arriving at DCA this week. This charming comedy-drama sees a struggling actor (Fraser) in Tokyo land an unusual gig: working for a ‘rental family’ agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers.

Elsewhere, acclaimed director Park Chan-wook (Oldboy) delivers darkly comedic thriller No Other Choice, which sees a recently laid off employee decide to murder his competition. There’s still time to see The History of Sound, along with Song Sung Blue and Oscar-nominees Hamnet and Marty Supreme.

We’re screening snowsports documentary Warren Miller’s Sno-Ciety and our FOKUS: Films from Germany programme begins with feminist features Women in Berlin and The Cat Has Nine Lives, Finally, you can be among the first to see The Chronology of Water at our preview screening. Enjoy!
