New films from Fri 30 May

See what's on including The Salt Path, Lilo & Stitch, The Phoenician Scheme and more.

Join us this week for The Salt Path, the true story of a married couple who embark on a 630-mile trek around the coastline of southwest England after losing their life savings. Led by Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, this affecting drama considers what the true meaning of home is.

There’s more time to catch family adventure Lilo & Stitch and Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme. Hettie Judah, curator of Acts of Creation, has selected Diablo Cody’s comedy-drama Young Adult to accompany the exhibition, and our final Live from the Metscreening for the season is Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

See Gillian Anderson on screen twice this week, first in The Salt Path and as Blanche DuBois in NT Live: A Streetcar Named Desire. Finally, join us for 3,000 feet: The Highlander, the Early Mountaineers and Scotland’s Highest Mountains followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Kevin Woods and Lindsay Hill. Enjoy!
