Late Shift, Savages, Weapons...there's something for everyone this week

A nurse is pushed to breaking point over one night in Late Shift, a gripping drama arriving at DCA Cinema this week. Claude Barras (My Life as a Courgette) latest vivid stop-motion animation Savages, also hits our screen this week with both an English Dub and Subtitled version on show.

Horror-thriller Weapons from writer/director Zach Cregger (Barbarian) which received 5-stars from Empire Magazine, and the 70th Anniversary of Night of the Hunter keep the summer scares coming. Elsewhere, there's a welcome return to the world of Jane Austen with Sense and Sensibility (30th Anniversary), and documentary Blue Road: The Edna O'Brien Story focuses on the Irish novelist.

Finally, our Complicit: Michael Haneke Retrospective kicks off with The Seventh Continent and Funny Games (35mm). You can see any two films from this season for the special price of £16 when booked at the same time.
