You can donate online or when you visit DCA – thank you for your support. Dundee Contemporary Arts is one of Scotland’s foremost contemporary art organisations and a registered charity (no. SC026631).

DCA has been enriching people's lives through art, culture and creativity since 1999, and we're only able to do so thanks to the generous support we receive from our donors and funders.

As a charity all the income we receive goes straight back into enabling audiences, artists and participants to see, experience and create, through our four programme areas: Exhibitions, Cinema, Print and Creative Learning.

You can donate online or when you visit DCA. Other ways to support us are by becoming a Member, Friend or Patron

Why support DCA?

DCA, like many other arts organisations and charities, has faced great financial challenges in the past two years, and will continue to do so in the future, as we live with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This is the only cinema I feel comfortable going to... DCA is my favourite place in Dundee.”

“Great to have my critical faculties re-engaged by being in the presence of actual art.”

“It was so inspiring to be in the studio and see all the artists working around me.”

“What a beautiful space – the perfect post-lockdown outing with the kids.”

All donations enable us to support artists, audiences and communities during this time of uncertainty and ensure we can continue to enrich people’s lives through art, culture and creativity. Every donation, large of small, makes a difference.

The pandemic has reminded us that arts and culture are vital for wellbeing and good mental health. We need your support to keep welcoming people back to DCA; providing a social and cultural hub, with world class exhibitions and films, free creative activities for people of all ages, and opportunities to create and learn new skills, all here in Dundee.
