DCA Code of Conduct
DCA Code of Conduct
We want DCA to be a safe, enjoyable and accessible environment for every single visitor and staff member.
Please respect our colleagues, participants and other visitors to ensure everyone feels welcome and safe. We will not tolerate any form of aggressive, harassing, abusive, inappropriate or threatening behaviour towards anyone in our building.
Please be mindful of other visitors and use phones and other devices with consideration for others. Use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited in our cinemas.
No food or drink other than water is permitted in our galleries. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and soft drinks into cinema screenings: no hot food is allowed in our cinemas and any alcohol must be purchased at Jute Café Bar.
Unless otherwise stated you are welcome to take and share personal photographs in our galleries. If you want to film in the space, or use flash photography, please speak to a member of staff. Any commercial photography or filmmaking must be approved by DCA in advance: please contact [javascript protected email address] to discuss.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of DCA; no other animals are permitted in the building.
You must abide by BBFC certificates when purchasing tickets for the cinema: we will refuse admission to anyone who is too young for their chosen screening.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ in all parts of the building, unless otherwise stated.
If you don’t respect our code of conduct or other policies, terms and conditions, we may ask you to leave.
If you would like to report a concern about something you’ve seen at DCA, please speak to a member of staff or get in touch at [javascript protected email address].
