Craft Sunday: Hand Painted Tiles with Eleanor Meredith

Join ceramist Eleanor Meredith for a relaxed workshop where you’ll learn how to glaze and decorate four pre-fired ceramic tiles.

You’ll start by sketching out ideas in ink and then move on to glazing and working with oxides to build colour and texture. Eleanor will be on hand to give tips on how you can develop your own designs or draw inspiration from pattern and decorative traditions. 

Your tiles will then be fired for a second time in Eleanor’s studio and returned to DCA around two weeks after the workshop. We’ll send you an email when they’re ready to be collected.

We’ll have plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to help fuel your making.
