Kitchen Lithography

Learn the very basics of lithography in this fun, lo-fi workshop.
Experiment with this form of printmaking using materials found in your kitchen, such as tinfoil and fizzy drinks. The process results in detailed drawn images and you'll leave with a collection of experimental prints.

Need to know
- What to bring
We provide everything you'll need, just bring yourself. You are welcome to bring along any inspiration, images or sketchbooks to work from.
- What to wear
We'll provide aprons and gloves but recommend wearing old clothes as printmaking can be messy. Please note that open-toed footwear and sandals are not allowed.
- Food & drinks
A sealed water flask or drinking vessel is permitted but other food and drinks are not allowed in the studio.

Marianne Wilson
Marianne Wilson (Livingstone) is an artist/printmaker with a BDes Hons Illustration and Printmaking and an MA Art History. She works as a Studio Coordinator in DCA Print Studio and specialises in papermaking.
