The Secret Floor

Karli, a 12-year-old boy, moves to the Alps, where his parents are making their dream of running a hotel come true. But instead of a holiday, Karli grudgingly helps his parents scrape old wallpaper. Suddenly, he discovers an old lift– that takes him back in time to the year 1938! There, he befriends the spirited Jewish girl Hannah and the shoeshine boy Georg. Together, they solve an exciting mystery case. But as Karli grows closer to his new friends, he begins to sense the dark shadow looming over their world and is soon confronted with the reality of National Socialism.
