Introduction to Stone Lithography
Explore the process of Stone Lithography in this weekend course.
Developed in the late 18th Century, stone lithography is a traditional printmaking process where an image is drawn on and then printed from a flat slab of limestone. This two-day class offers an introduction to the process where you will be guided through the different stages to create your own stone lithograph print.

Need to know
- What to bring
All materials will be provided but please bring along some drawings or reference images to work from.
- What to wear
We'll provide aprons and gloves but recommend wearing old clothes as printmaking can be messy. Please note that open-toed footwear and sandals are not allowed.
- Food & drinks
A sealed water flask or drinking vessel is permitted but other food and drinks are not allowed in the studio.
