Gifts in Wills
Your memory lives on through a gift to DCA
Since 1999, DCA has been dedicated to enriching people’s lives through art, culture and creativity. You can help us thrive for the next 25 years and beyond by leaving us a gift in your will.
We enable audiences, artists and participants to see, experience and create through our four programme areas: Exhibitions, Cinema, Print and Learning, delivering work in our building and across the city of Dundee. Your support will ensure future generations can continue to benefit from our creative programmes and our vibrant, welcoming civic space.
As a registered charity, gifts in wills are vital to our future. Your loved ones always come first when planning your will, but even a modest cash gift or a small percentage of what you leave behind can make an incredible difference to DCA’s work.
Anyone can leave a gift and all contributions, large or small, help us to keep engaging with artists, audiences and communities.

How to leave a gift in your will
Leaving a gift in your will cost you nothing now, but it will make a powerful and lasting contribution to DCA in the future.
It is very simple to leave a gift in your will. We recommend contacting a qualified solicitor to help you write or update your will to include a gift to DCA. If you wish to update an existing will, your solicitor may suggest you use a Codicil, which is a straightforward way to amend your will.
Get in touch
We know leaving a gift in your will is an incredibly personal decision, and you do not have to inform us of your gift. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to thank you for helping to protect DCA for future generations.
Everyone who chooses to give in this way is invited to join our Directors Circle, which allows DCA to recognise your generosity during your lifetime.
To let us know you have left a gift in your will, to discuss further or to join our Directors Circle, please contact Shelley Barclay Horban, Development Manager, on shelley.barclay@dca.org.uk.
