Visiting the cinema
On arrival at the cinema, you’ll be greeted by one of our Visitor Assistant team and asked to scan your ticket, whether it’s on your phone or printed. They’ll be able to check this has worked for you, and answer any questions about your visit.
Once your ticket has been scanned the Visitor Assistant on duty can show you to your seat, but please be patient if they need to scan another ticket first. Please make sure you sit in the seats allocated to you.
If you would like to take a drink from Jute Café Bar into the cinema with you please order this before scanning your ticket. We ask customers not to leave the cinema to buy drinks once they have taken their seats.
When the film has finished, if you’ve brought any food or drinks in with you please take them away and dispose of them in the bins provided. Our team will be undertaking comprehensive cleaning of the cinemas in between screenings.
We are still periodically bio-fogging the cinema as part of our enhanced cleaning regime.
You are welcome to wear a mask during your visit to the cinema.
We support the Distance Aware scheme.
Please be kind, respect others and enjoy your visit!

About DCA cinema
Our cinema programme is developed entirely in-house by our Head of Cinema, David Nixon. At DCA we believe the knowledge and experience gained by working directly with our audiences helps to tailor our programme to local needs and interests. This is partly what makes a visit to the cinema at DCA so special.
We pride ourselves in finding films that we really believe our audiences here will love, and present them in the most comfortable and high-quality surroundings. We also want to make sure the cinema experience is as rich as possible and constantly look at new ways to connect - with great films through to special events, film courses and quiz nights.
