The Moomins are back and this time they’re in 3D! Based on the classic 1946 children’s book Comet in Moominland, this quirky animation follows the much-loved creatures on a death-defying journey to find out why everything has turned grey in Moomin Valley.

With help from the Professor at the observatory, the Moomins try to prevent a fiery comet colliding with Earth. Re-live the adventures of Snuffkin, Moomintroll and friends, and introduce a new generation to their magic.

Discovery Film Festival is proud to host the UK premiere of this new film which also includes a specially written theme song by Björk.
