Craft Sunday Weekender: Woven Bolster Cushion with Le Petit Moose
Welcome to our first Craft Sunday weekender!
Spend two days immersed in the playful craft of peg-loom weaving with fibre artist Stephanie Fradette aka Le Petit Moose.
You’ll be guided through the processes involved in creating a hand-woven bolster cushion. Explore various techniques such as designing for the peg-loom, weaving a variety of stitches and waeving in the round.
Everything you need will be on hand including colourful quality yarns. If you have any special chunky yarns that you would like to incorporate in the piece, please feel free to bring these along to make your finished cushion even more personal. We’ll also provide tea, coffee, biscuits and plenty of encouragement to help fuel your making.
Use your finished cushion as a decorative piece or as a yoga bolster – the shape is ideal for using in restorative poses to support the body. As well as you cushion, you’ll also leave with the confidence and knowledge to continue your peg-loom weaving journey beyond the weekend.
