Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for all ages at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

Join us for the last few weeks of the school holidays. We've got £5 kids tickets and a discounted family offer for summer. We've got family film fun with the new live-action Moana (including Relaxed and Sing-Along screenings), plus superhero adventures for older kids with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tickets for our Discovery Family Film Club are Donate What You Can - enjoy Amazing Animated Shorts from London International Animation Festival.

Our current exhibitions close on Sun 2 August but you can continue to be inspired with our downloadable activity sheets. This also means Create Space will be closed as we give it a new look to go alongside our next exhibition - France-Lise McGurn: The Charm Offensive. Our Info Space will be stocked with activities and art materials while this is happening, so you'll still be able to make your own artwork when you visit DCA. This month also sees the return of Messy Play and Breast Buddies after a short summer break, plus Soundplay Projects are back.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (their summer children's menu features some familiar faces for wee ones to colour in, plus tasty options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert and reduced prices!) and a trip to our shop, which stocks some great toys, books and pocket money friendly games.
