New films from Fri 31 July

It’s a week of action, adventure and music at DCA Cinema, kicking off with the Glasgow-filmed Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, Zendaya and some familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Christopher Nolan’s box office phenomenon The Odyssey continues, with more 35mm showtimes by popular demand – catch it on the big screen while you can! Then there’s contemporary urban drama Ish, screening as part of our Rip It Up season on youth culture, and the electrifying musical experience of David Byrne’s American Utopia.

For younger film fans, we’ve got the new live-action reimagining of Moana, and our Discovery Family Film Club screening of short films from the London International Animation Festival. Enjoy!
