The October school holidays are here and we’ve filled our cinema screens with some amazing animation to celebrate.
Aardman Animations' latest feature Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom begins a season celebrating 50 years of claymation from this iconic studio, closely followed by a selection of Wallace & Gromit shorts and Chicken Run. And anime fans can enjoy a new 4K restoration of Studio Ghibli’s heartwarming coming-of-age classic Whisper of the Heart. Lots of family-friendly fun!
Strictly for the grown-ups, Dundead Halloween gets underway with a special screening of The Phantom of the Opera and J-horror Audition. Emotions run high with Juliette Binoche and Tom Courtenay in deeply moving drama Queen at Seaand we’re off on an Antarctic expedition with documentary Penelope & Jane: A Polar Love Story. Plus, enjoy more chances to see Sense and Sensibility and catch the wonderfully wild Digger - it has to be seen to be believed!
Finally, music fans are in for a treat with a 4K restoration of Madness: Take it or Leave It and Pulp: What Do You Do for an Encore? is back with a recorded Q&A.
