Werewolf (Preview)

During the chaotic aftermath of the Second World War eight children are liberated from a concentration camp and placed in a makeshift orphanage, it is an abandoned palace surrounded by forestry. As the youngsters begin to adjust to this new life it becomes apparent that they are once again in danger: Several guard dogs from the camp are roaming the forests looking for food and have become feral out of starvation. The children find themselves under siege but will do what needs to be done to survive.

Due to the sensitive yet unflinching direction and the strong performances of the young actors, Werewolf is never as gruelling nor as distasteful as one might expect. This film packs an emotional punch that resonates for a long time afterwards.
