Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for all ages at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

We've packed June with lots of activities for families, including our Baby Takeover to celebrate Scottish Breast Feeding Week and Infant Mental Health Awareness Week, and workshops and drop-ins as part of Dundee Play Festival. There's also our usual Family Art Lab and Messy Play sessions, plus our Bring a Baby Gallery Tour is back. In Create Space, the Make Now, Think Later! display continues until Sun 21 June and then we'll have new activities linked to the exhibitions in DCA Galleries. 

On the big screen in DCA Cinema will be The Mountain for Discovery Family Film Club, including a Relaxed screening, and we're getting ready for the school holidays with Toy Story 5.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop, which stocks some great toys, books and pocket money friendly games.
